About the Artists

Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone
Herman’s Hermits formed in Manchester, England in 1963 as Herman & The Hermits. The band had two No. 1 hits in the United States market, “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter,” and “I’m Henry the Eighth, I Am,” plus countless other songs high on the list. Hits like “Listen People,” “”I’m into Something Good,” and “There’s a Kind of Hush” brought the group critical acclaim.
Universally regarded as one of rock and roll's finest and most versatile entertainers, Peter Noone has been a standout over the years. Star of stage, screen and record, Noone's performances are the stuff of legend, deftly delivering a broad palette of music, defining a generation. Over 60 million records have been sold over the years, with 20 songs hitting the Top 40 charts.
The Grass Roots
In 1965, Rob Grill and three others teamed up with mega-hit producer Steve Barri to form The Grass Roots. Since their formation The Grass Roots have gone on to chart 29 singles; 13 of which went gold followed by two gold albums and one platinum album. In the entire history of rock and roll, only nine bands (including The Beatles) have charted more hits on Billboard’s Hot 100 than The Grass Roots.
For almost 50 years one of the most recognized groups on classic rock radio stations has continued to be The Grass Roots, selling over 20 million records worldwide. During that time, the group has averaged over 100 live performances each year. They have appeared on over 50 national television shows including The Tonight Show, The Today Show, Ed Sullivan, Andy Williams, and Sonny & Cher. The Grass Roots have performed on VH1 Hit-Makers and MTV, and a record 16 times on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand.
The Buckinghams
In 1966 The Buckinghams signed their first record contract, recording a dozen songs. It was “Kind of a Drag” that gave them their first national exposure. It sold over a million copies, and received a gold disc – a great way to start. The Buckinghams; known for their “brass rock” sound, produced Top 20 hits in 1967, including  "Don't You Care" (#6), "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy" (#5), "Hey Baby (They're Playing Our Song)" (#12) and "Susan" (#11).
For the past two and a half decades, The Buckinghams have successfully toured the nation with their signature pop music featuring founding members Carl Giammarese (lead vocals) and Nick Fortuna (bass and vocals). Their show is filled with harmony, spontaneity, humor, and a musical strength that appeals to not only their loyal fans, but forges new links with younger generations as well.
